Who these terms are with
These terms govern your use of theaestheteacademy.com and any programme bought through it. The site is operated by [COMPANY NAME], [registration number], [registered address]. By enrolling you agree to what follows.
Your account
You need an account to take a programme. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
An account is for one person. Sharing login details so that several people can take one programme is the one thing that will get an account closed without a refund.
Enrolment and access
When your payment clears you are enrolled and the first week opens immediately. Programmes are released week by week rather than all at once, and the opening date for each week is shown inside the programme. This is how the teaching is designed to work, with time for the practical exercises in between.
Access does not expire. Once you have bought a programme, the material you bought stays available to you.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include any tax we are required to charge. Payment is taken once, in full, at checkout. We may change the price of a programme at any time, but never for a programme you have already bought.
Discount and waitlist codes are subject to their own conditions and cannot be combined unless we say so.
Refunds
Our refund terms are set out in full on the Refund Policy page, which forms part of these terms. In short: fourteen days, provided no more than a quarter of the programme has been completed.
What you may do with the material
Everything in a programme, including videos, written lessons, downloadable files and the masterlist, belongs to us or to those we license it from. You may use it for your own learning and in your own professional work.
You may not copy, resell, publish, share or republish the material, in whole or in part, or use it to build a competing course. You may absolutely use what you learn on client projects. That is the point of it.
Work you submit
Work you upload for review stays yours. By submitting it you allow us to view it, store it and give you feedback on it. We will not publish it or use it in our marketing without asking you first.
Discussions
Lesson discussions are for students on the same programme. Be civil and useful. We may remove anything abusive, off topic or promotional, and may close an account that keeps doing it.
What we promise, and what we do not
We will teach the material described on the programme page and provide the lessons and assessments listed there. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the site available.
We cannot promise a particular commercial result. What you earn from design work depends on your effort, your market and your clients, none of which we control. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of income.
Software and services taught in the programmes are made by other companies and change over time. We update the material as they change, but we do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, pricing or terms.
Ending an enrolment
You can stop at any time. If you want your account closed, email us and we will do it.
We may suspend or close an account that shares login details, redistributes material, or behaves abusively toward staff or other students. Where we close an account for one of those reasons, no refund is due.
Liability
Nothing here limits our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, our liability to you in connection with a programme is limited to what you paid for it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Latvia, and the courts of Latvia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the law of the country where you live.
